All students are given direction in their learning as Christian follows his own core 3 stage program. This program aims to provide students with well rounded musical understanding, leading to the joy and freedom of improvisation and composition.
Christian prides himself on being a dedicated and patient teacher offering the highest quality tuition that he can. He aims to be friendly and encouraging whilst also striving for excellence and bringing out the best in each student. He has learnt during his years of teaching the importance of listening to his students needs and to nurture them in their musical development, and not force them in a direction that isn't right for them.

Ron Dolan L.T.C.L. (Teacher - Guitar)
Teacher
of Guitar & Theory
Ron began studying the piano at the age of 7 but was quickly seduced by the evocative sounds of the guitar and became its avid supporter, player, teacher, composer and lifelong student.
His early guitar career began with performances in bands playing a wide variety of music. However, Ron later became interested in the subtle sounds of classical, jazz and Latin American music and so embarked upon a formal music education graduating with a Teachers Licentiate (Honours) in Guitar from Trinity College of London.
Whilst he has performed often as a soloist his preference is the beauty, intimacy and romance of chamber and ensemble group music making. This has led him to perform and record in duet, trio, quartet, quintet and small chamber orchestras.
Ron began his teaching career some 20 years ago and has enjoyed the privilege of training and mentoring guitarists of all ages, levels and interest. He has taught privately as well as for universities, performing arts schools and conservatoriums.
His deep interest in the development of the musical talent of others together with an impassioned approach to music makes him an empathic, patient and endearing teacher for students of all ages.
Ron looks forward to introducing you to his lifelong friend...the guitar! Please feel free to give him a call to discuss your own personal needs and musical dreams; music is a language that knows no human barriers or boundaries. All it takes to share in its beauty is patience and love!
Music is the mediator between the spiritual and the sensual life."
